  A unique and cosy bar in an area littered with crowded and noisy venues. Strangeloves has an intimate feel with a fantastic range of wines, beers, spirits and cocktails. They do not have a kitchen, however you can order food from the wide variety of local restaurants. Highly recommended.

  This is a nice casual one to retreat to if you're hitting a restaurant on Mt Alexander Rd or on your way back from the city on the 59. Quiet cosy bar with covered outside area at the back. Staff are very friendly, beverage choice is great too (Budějovický Budvar on tap! Probs 5 stars alone just for that).
  
  This is your more intimate but pricier #2 wine bar choice in the area next to The Valley Cellardoor which these days is frequently packed out now it's been suddenly discovered by everyone in the last year you disgust me moonee ponds. I like this place a lot for a really chilled out beer or bottle to share, just watch your spend.
